The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)Feed-the-Future Innovation Lab for Collaborative Research on Grain Legumes (Legume Innovation Lab), and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), in collaboration with major international agricultural research organizations and development partners and sponsors, proudly announce the holding of the Joint Pan-African Grain Legume and World Cowpea Conference on 28 February to 4 March 2016 at the AVANI Victoria Falls Resort (formerly the Zambezi Sun Hotel) in Livingstone, Zambia.

In connection with the celebration of 2016 as the International Year of Pulses (IYP), this Joint World Cowpea and Pan-African Grain Legume Research Conference has been declared by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as one of the 10 international IYP signature events, and the IYP signature event for Africa.

Note to authors of abstracts accepted for poster presentation

For authors whose abstracts have been accepted for poster presentation, please download the conference poster templates and guidelines from the "Poster Templates and Guide" page. We have developed several poster templates for you to choose from, but all having the same consistent look and feel. You may choose any of the designs that suit your need. You need to print and bring your printed poster with you when you travel to Livingstone. The conference organizers will not have poster printing services. Upon physical registration at the conference venue, your poster will be assigned a reference number, which you will use to locate where your poster will be put up in the poster display area.
